Thanks to everyone who came out and saw us in Downtown Howell for the Howell Melon Festival last weekend! We had a blast talking with you all. We’d also like to say a special hello to our new subscribers – we’re so happy you’re here!
Unfortunately, we can’t talk about Melonfest without mentioning the weather. On Saturday afternoon, a strong storm rolled through the Howell area, catching much of the festival by surprise. Notably, one of the windows at the Howell Opera House was blown out.
We came through it all just fine, aside from time lost due to the festival being shut down early on Saturday. Most of the vendors around us weren’t so lucky, suffering damage to their tents and loss of product. If you’re interested and able, we hope you’ll take a look at the vendor list and find some way to show them some love.

With Melonfest behind us, we’re gearing up for our next event – Destination Stars Hollow in Downtown Brighton on September 20 & 21!
The weekend is sure to be a ton of fun and we’re so happy that they’ve expanded it this year to include a vendor area in the Mill Pond parking lot, where the Brighton Farmers’ Market usually sets up! We’ll be out there from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Saturday and again from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Sunday. We’re looking forward to seeing you in Stars Hollow!
We’re also extremely excited to announce that we’ll be bringing a one-of-a-kind, new design to the event celebrating Destination Stars Hollow itself!

We’ll have the Destination Stars Hollow puzzle available at our vendor booth (look for the flag!) but you’ll also be able to find it at Oh My Lolli!, Culture Beer & Cheese, and (of course) 2 Dandelions Bookshop.
